Featuring the All-New Mitsubishi Mirage
Mitsubishi has created the Mirage keeping in mind shoppers looking for cars that do not put a dent in their wallet but still packed with all kinds of new features. The sort of specialties that Mitsubishi is offering with the Mirage compared to its price tag is truly amazing.
There are five different trims of the Mirage being offered by Mitsubishi – The ES manual trim, The ES CVT trim, the LE, SE, and GT.
The ES manual is the only manual, while all the other trims are equipped with a continuously variable automatic transmission.
The Mirage 2020 has been incorporated with the 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine. This engine is able to generate a relatively high horsepower of 78 and a torque of 74 lb-ft. The engine sends quite a bit of power to the front wheels, ensuring the driveability remains more than satisfactory, with quick acceleration and stable movements.
The Mirage offers the best fuel economy among all cars in the hatchback segment. According to its EPA ratings in the continuously variable transmission model, it achieves 36 miles per gallon in the city, 43 mpg on the highway, and a combined score of 40. These are impressive numbers for the kind of horsepower and torque churned out by the engine. In the manual transmission, the fuel economy dips slightly to 33 miles per gallon in the city and 41 on the highway, with a combined number of 37.
Given the price range of the car, the interiors of the car are nicely built, sturdy, and comfortable. There is enough legroom in both the front and rear seats, and the vehicle can comfortably accommodate four adults. The interior has also been equipped with automatic climate control as a standard feature across all trims.
With the rear seats in place, the Mirage provides up to 17 cubic feet of space, quite high for a hatchback of its size. If the back seats of the Mirage are lowered, this space multiplies to 47 cubic feet.
With its considerably high fuel economy, power, and cargo space, the Mirage is about to be a car to watch out for in the hatchback segment. Want to get your hands on the Mirage 2020? Drive down to Sansone Jr’s 66 Mitsubishi in Neptune, NJ, from Freehold, Asbury Park, or Belmar at the earliest.
